This project was commissioned by Josh Schoonmaker of Schoonmaker Consulting. The purpose of the project was to demonstrate how a real-time simulation, which was built on the Unity3D engine, could be used to remotely allow people to experience new features, or tour an office space.
Even though this project was my first time using the Unity3D engine, the product was a quick prototype that I was able to put together for demonstration of several requested concepts.
The virtual tour consisted of two primary environments: A conceptual space station-like environment, and a mapped out real-world office space. Each environment had unique interactable components, ranging from payment simulations to video displays.
Each environment in the tour had a specific focus. The space-like environment was focusing on the concept of automatic payments for services, as those services were used, while the office-space environment demonstrated how a person could remotely tour a real place using 3D simulations.
